Red blood spots on scrotum

Red blood spots on scrotum

An unhealthy lifestyle or sex life will not only cause women to suffer from gynecological diseases, but also men to suffer from various andrological diseases. If you find small red bumps on your scrotum, it is likely to be a capillary hemangioma. Although capillary hemangioma is a benign lesion, you still need to go to the hospital for examination. Of course, in this case, other diseases are not ruled out.

Hemangioma is a congenital benign tumor or vascular malformation that is formed by the proliferation of angioblasts during the embryonic period and is common in the skin and soft tissue. It is more common in infants at birth or shortly after birth. The remaining embryonic angioblasts and active endothelial-like germs invade the adjacent tissues to form endothelial-like cords, which are connected to the remaining blood vessels after tubularization to form hemangiomas. The blood vessels in the tumor form their own system and are not connected to the surrounding blood vessels.

At present, the commonly used methods for treating hemangiomas are drug therapy, laser therapy and surgical treatment. There is no one method that can treat all types of hemangiomas. It should be determined according to factors such as the type, location, depth of the tumor and the age of the patient. Commonly used methods include: surgical resection, radiotherapy, cryosurgery, sclerosing agent injection and laser irradiation.

The principles of treatment are: ① prevent or treat serious complications that threaten life or function; ② prevent deformities or facial defects after the hemangioma disappears; ③ prevent ulcers and infections, and for patients who have already developed ulcers, promote ulcer healing, reduce scar formation, and relieve pain; ④ reduce the psychological pressure of children and their families; ⑤ avoid excessive treatment of lesions that can disappear on their own and have a good prognosis.

General laboratory examination results showed no specific findings. For those with superficial and localized tumors, the examination items are mainly based on the examination frame "A"; for those with deeper disease or huge tumors, the examination items may include the examination frames "B" and "A". Neck X-rays are valuable in understanding the size and range of deep tumors or whether the tumors invade the cervical spine or laryngeal cartilage. If angiography is performed before surgery, the nutritional branches of the hemangioma can be understood. Ligating the supply blood vessels at both ends of the hemangioma can reduce intraoperative bleeding and facilitate complete removal of the hemangioma. Further walking ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging or fine needle puncture can be performed to clarify the diagnosis.
