Vas deferens is a disease that occurs in men. This disease is mainly caused by bacterial infection of the vas deferens, which can cause ejaculation pain and autoimmune diseases in men, affecting the quality of sperm and the quality of men's sexual life. The symptoms of vas deferens include less semen and ejaculation pain. Men need to receive timely treatment, otherwise it will lead to infertility. Normal people may have bacteria in their vas deferens. Pathogenic bacteria in the vas deferens are also common bacteria in urogenital inflammation, such as Staphylococcus aureus and alkaline-producing bacilli. Most of them are low-virulence conditional pathogens. Therefore, vas deferens is often caused by bacteria invading the vas deferens during urinary and genital inflammation. Another cause is vasectomy due to lax disinfection of the scrotal skin or surgery-induced bacterial activity in the vas deferens. Vas deferens inflammatory nodules due to spermatic cord injury or vasectomy are currently considered to be a form of autoimmunity. When the vas deferens is damaged or ligated, sperm penetrates or extravasates into the surrounding tissues, causing an autoimmune reaction and the appearance of vas deferens nodules. Other scholars believe that nodules are related to failure to follow strict aseptic techniques during surgery, unclear separation of the vas deferens and excessive ligation of surrounding tissues including nerve tissue, as well as excessive ligation force or too thick or too many ligatures. ① Congenital abnormalities. The vas deferens is congenitally undeveloped or dysplastic, and is not connected to the epididymis, often accompanied by underdeveloped seminal vesicles, resulting in low semen volume and azoospermia. ② Inflammatory stenosis. Various pathogens cause inflammation of the vas deferens, forming scars and blocking the lumen. In severe cases, it can lead to azoospermia. ③Tumor: The obstruction of the lumen caused by the compression of the vas deferens itself or the adjacent organs is also one of the causes of azoospermia. ④ Trauma or surgical injury, such as hernia repair, leading to lumen obstruction. Vasectomy is to artificially block the lumen to prevent sperm from being discharged to achieve the purpose of birth control. It is one of the main methods of male sterilization. Infertility caused by vas deferens obstruction, the testicular spermatogenesis function is normal, but sperm cannot be found in the semen. Various imaging is often required, such as vaso-spermatocystography, vaso-epididymography and urethrography to determine the location of the obstruction. Male urinary system examination, similar to female gynecological examination, is necessary for the diagnosis of the cause of infertility. The examination can discover the cause of the couple's disease and give corresponding treatment, such as antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and surgery. Clinical manifestations (1) Acute vas deferens causes swelling and pain in the scrotum on the affected side, red and swollen skin, and pain radiating to the abdomen and thigh root on the same side, often causing the patient to bend over and hold his abdomen. There is local tenderness in the scrotum and obvious tenderness in the vas deferens. In severe cases, there may be fever and purulent lesions may form around the vas deferens. (2) Chronic vas deferens causes swelling, pain or redness on the affected side of the scrotum, with pain radiating to the abdomen and thigh. The clinical symptoms are milder than those of acute vas deferens, with a slow onset and a history of recurrent attacks. It is often accompanied by testicular and epididymitis. Physical examination shows that the scrotal section of the vas deferens is thickened and hardened. In severe cases, the vas deferens is adhered to the surrounding area, the levator testis is tense, and the scrotum and testicles are retracted. Vas deferens nodules that occur after vas deferens injury or vasectomy develop from the nodule to both ends, with the vas deferens thickened or adhered. The nodules can be painful or asymptomatic. treatment During the acute inflammation period of vas deferens, patients should rest in bed and elevate their scrotum to promote local blood return. According to the type of pathogen that may be infected, sensitive antibiotics should be selected. Painkillers can be used for obvious local swelling and pain, and spermatic cord closure can be used for severe cases. Chronic inflammation of the vas deferens can be treated locally. For stubborn painful nodules after vasectomy, surgical removal can be performed. The vas deferens is a very important organ in the male reproductive system. However, it is easy to induce infection and cause symptoms of vas deferens. The early stage of vas deferens is often not noticed by people, and when it is discovered, it is often in a more serious stage. Therefore, once you find a problem with the vas deferens, you should go to the hospital for examination, diagnosis and treatment in time to avoid more serious consequences. There are several specific treatment methods: 1. Audio therapy: For those with obvious local lumps, audio therapy can be used to reduce swelling, relieve pain, soften and disperse lumps, once a day, each time for 20 minutes. 2. Laser irradiation: Local irradiation with helium-neon laser acts on the local area through thermal effect, light effect, electromagnetic field effect, etc., and has the effects of anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling, and analgesia. 3. Ultrasound: This treatment method for vas deferens is to increase the local tissue temperature, dilate small blood vessels, improve local microcirculation, and dissipate the enlarged nodules. |
