Red spots appear on the glans after drinking

Men are more likely to suffer from balanitis, and 80% of men have the phenomenon of foreskin being too long. When the foreskin is too long, it is easy to cause inflammation of the glans. Especially men like to drink alcohol. The stimulating effect of alcohol is very strong. Drinking alcohol may not only cause alcohol allergy, but also make the skin disease of the body more serious. So what is the reason for the red spots on the glans after drinking alcohol?

Small red spots on the glans are typical symptoms of balanitis, which refers to inflammation of the inner plate of the foreskin and the glans penis. A lipid substance secreted in the normal foreskin cavity can accumulate into smegma to irritate the foreskin and glans penis and cause balanitis when the foreskin is too long or the phimosis occurs. The basic principle of Western medicine treatment is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Generally, both internal and external treatments are used. Erythromycin and tetracycline are the first choice for the treatment of acute superficial balanitis and annular effusive balanitis, usually 0.5g per serving, 4 times a day. The first choice for the treatment of trichomonal balanitis is chloramphenicol, 0.2g per serving, 3 times a day, for 10 consecutive days. Trichostatin or itraconazole is commonly used to treat balanitis caused by Candida albicans. Trichostatin 100,000 to 200,000 units, twice a day, itraconazole 100 mg per dose, twice a day, for 7 consecutive days.

This situation excludes the possibility of glansitis. The basic principle of treating glansitis is to reduce inflammation and sterilize. Generally, both internal and external treatments are used. Trichostatin or itraconazole is often used to treat glansitis caused by Candida albicans.

If there are red spots on the glans, it is considered to be caused by injury, infection, allergy, etc. Balanitis and genital herpes are both possible. Foreskin is too long, masturbation, tight underwear, unclean sex life, spicy food and alcohol stimulation are common causes.

Go to a regular hospital's urology department for relevant examinations in time, find out the cause and treat it accordingly. If the foreskin is too long, it is best to have it surgically removed, which is conducive to recovery.
