Male foreskin is a very common disease. Almost 80% of men have foreskin. If the foreskin is too long during adolescence, it will hinder the development of the male penis. After adulthood, it is easy to cause some sexual diseases, because it is easy for some dirty things to appear inside the foreskin. So how to fix the foreskin? Phimosis is the most common developmental abnormality in men. It means that when the penis is in a flaccid state, the foreskin is too long to cover the entire glans penis, resulting in the glans penis not being able to be exposed naturally. If the foreskin is too narrow and cannot be turned outward, the glans penis cannot be turned out, which is called phimosis. The right side of the diagram below is phimosis. At birth, the foreskin naturally covers the glans penis and the urethra. Generally, after 2-3 years old, as the penis grows, the adhesion between the glans penis and the foreskin will gradually be stretched, and the foreskin can still cover the urethra, but it can be turned up. During puberty, the penis develops rapidly, the foreskin covering it is completely pushed open, and the glans penis gradually becomes exposed. When the penis of an adult is flaccid, the foreskin does not cover the urethra opening and can be freely turned up to expose the coronal sulcus, which is a normal length of foreskin. If it covers the urethra opening, it is too long! Excessive foreskin, especially the foreskin, will have an impact. The foreskin will restrict the growth and development of the penis, causing cryptic penis and short penis. The foreskin and prepuce are too long, so the glans penis cannot be exposed. The glans penis lacks contact with the outside world and becomes more sensitive. The space between the foreskin and the glans penis is prone to the growth of smegma, which is also a place where bacteria and other microorganisms can easily grow. Bacteria can easily cause balanitis, and it is easy to transmit the infection to the woman during intercourse. The smegma repeatedly stimulates the glans penis, which is also a factor that induces penile lesions. Therefore, excessive foreskin and phimosis are risk factors for penile cancer and female cervical cancer. |
