Its main clinical manifestations are: initially it is a pinpoint-sized papule, which gradually expands to the size of a pea or larger, is round or polygonal, has a rough surface, obvious keratinization, is hard, and is gray-yellow, dirty yellow or dirty brown. It continues to develop into papilloma-like proliferation, and is easy to bleed due to friction or impact; it is prone to occur on the fingers, back of the hands, edges of the feet, etc.; the number varies, usually one at the beginning, and can later develop into several to dozens, generally without spontaneous symptoms, and occasionally with tenderness; if it occurs on the edge of the nail, it manifests as simple keratinization, and typical wart-like lesions only appear when it invades the skin. If it spreads under the nail, it will lift the nail and destroy the growth of the nail, leading to cracks, pain and secondary infection.

Treatment of common warts

Although common warts are not a serious disease, they affect the appearance and bring a lot of inconvenience to work and life. Most patients hope to find a simple and quick treatment method. Currently, the most popular treatments among doctors and patients are cryotherapy and laser therapy, because they are quick, thorough, simple and easy to use, and have few side effects. But this is not absolute. It can be the first choice for single warts or a small number of warts.
