Causes of baldness in men

Causes of baldness in men

Male baldness is a common hair problem, especially among middle-aged men. Nine out of ten middle-aged men will have baldness. Therefore, more and more middle-aged men have joined the ranks of seeking treatments for hair loss. Before treating hair loss, we must first find out the cause of male baldness, so as to fundamentally treat hair loss. The following article will explain the causes of male baldness to male friends.

Blood heat (35%):

The reason why young people's hair turns white and falls out early is because of excessive heat in the blood. It is generally believed that it is caused by blood deficiency and blood stasis. In fact, excessive blood heat will cause sluggish hair, and blood heat will generate wind. Wind-heat rises to the top of the head with the qi. The hair roots cannot be nourished by yin blood, so the hair will fall out suddenly. This is especially true for people who work in a foreign place. They are most likely to suffer from hair loss, and women are most obvious. When they first arrive in a foreign place, their hair is thick and black, but soon after, they start to wash their hair and lose it in handfuls. The amount of hair begins to decrease significantly, and some people are afraid to wash their hair in severe cases. Here, I would like to remind friends who work away from home to take measures as soon as possible so that hair loss can be stopped and beautiful hair can grow.

Toxin accumulation (18%):

Worry, pollution, bad habits, etc. will cause the human body to absorb, produce and accumulate a large amount of toxins. These toxins will damage the organs and systems of the body on the one hand, and affect the absorption of nutrients by the organs and hair on the other hand, making it impossible for various nourishing foods and medicines to play a role, resulting in hair loss. Many methods of treating hair loss are not effective because toxins in the body have not been eliminated. This is specially mentioned here to draw full attention.

Lung damage (7%):

The lungs control the fur. If the lungs fail, the fur will be the first to die. The lungs are the most important organ for exchanging oxygen and waste in the human body. The strength of the lung function directly affects the inhalation of oxygen, the excretion of waste, and the supply of nutrients in the body. Hair is the terminal organ of the body. If the lungs are damaged, the fur will be malnourished and the hair will fall out.

Kidney deficiency (10%):

The kidneys store the essence of the five internal organs. Kidney deficiency leads to insufficient essence and blood. Insufficient essence and blood leads to lack of nutrition supply to the hair, causing hair loss. The kidneys store essence, and its beauty is in the hair. When the kidney qi is weak, the hair falls out.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the main cause of hair loss is the kidney. If the liver and kidney are deficient and the qi and blood are insufficient, the blood circulation of the whole body will be weak, and it will be unable to transport nutrients to the "head", the highest point of the human body when standing upright. The hair follicles on the head are not nourished and gradually atrophy, which will cause hair loss. "The kidneys store essence and are responsible for reproduction, and their beauty is in the hair." "Hair is the residue of blood." It is believed that the kidneys are the innate foundation and hair is the product of blood. The kidneys store essence and the liver stores blood. Essence and blood have the same origin and transform into each other. Both are indispensable.

1. Trace elements are closely related to hair: Studies have shown that trace elements such as copper, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and selenium are closely related to hair growth. The lack of these trace elements in the body can cause hair loss.

2. Loss of semen: refers to excessive sexual activity in men, excessive ejaculation of semen, loss of yang energy, physical weakness, inability to nourish hair, and resulting in hair loss.

3. Worry: Modern life is becoming more and more stressful and competitive, causing people to become more anxious and worried. Worry accumulates in their hearts, causing nervous system disorders, psychological imbalance, and toxin accumulation in the heart and spleen. When suddenly stimulated, evil winds invade, causing secondary or sudden hair loss.

4. Environmental pollution: The environment in which humans live is deteriorating. Air pollution and water pollution cause people to absorb a large amount of toxic substances, which damages the body's endocrine system and immune system, destroys hair health, and causes hair loss.

5. Bad habits: Due to fierce competition, the habit of working from sunrise to sunset formed by generations of Chinese people has been completely broken. Forced overtime, too many social activities, heavy smoking and drinking, and frequent nightlife have damaged various body functions. According to research, the time from 12 to 2 a.m. is the time for hair to grow. The destruction of the biological clock, the disruption of the rhythm of life, lack of sleep and insomnia make the hair unable to get normal nutrition and rest, which leads to illness and hair loss.

6. Improper diet: As people's living standards have improved, their dietary structure has changed. The amount of cereals and green vegetables has decreased, while the amount of fat and protein has increased. The amount of stimulating foods has increased, while the amount of coarse grains has decreased and the amount of fine grains has increased. This has caused an imbalance in nutrition in the body, making it difficult for the body's digestive and absorption system to adapt, resulting in dampness and heat in the spleen and stomach, causing disorders and leading to hair loss.

7. Improper maintenance: Excessive use of shampoo and hair care products, or use of shampoo and hair care products with strong alkalinity and poor quality, improper perming, dyeing, shampooing, combing, and blow-drying can damage the hair and cause hair loss.

Among the above reasons, Chinese medicine believes that the main reasons are kidney deficiency, lung damage, toxin accumulation, and trace element deficiency.
