Cryptorchidism is a very harmful disease for men. It can easily cause psychological problems for patients. The absence of testicles in the scrotum will make the appearance of male genitals abnormal, which can easily lead to inferiority complex and affect the sexual function of patients. If not treated in time, it will also cause disease progression and a high probability of developing malignant tumors, which will directly threaten male fertility. So what is the surgical process for cryptorchidism? First, what is the procedure for cryptic testis surgery? A skin incision is made parallel to the inguinal ligament from one horizontal finger above the midpoint of the inguinal ligament, ending at the pubic tubercle. After making the incision according to the above requirements, the subcutaneous tissue is carefully separated until the subcutaneous ring and the external oblique aponeurosis. The external oblique aponeurosis is cut open to expose the inguinal canal. Most cryptic testes are located in the inguinal canal. If the testicles cannot be found, the inguinal canal can be opened. In patients with combined inguinal hernia, the testicles may be located in the abdominal cavity. If the abdominal pressure is appropriately increased, the testicles can be seen entering the inguinal canal along with the hernia sac. Second, loosen the testicle and spermatic cord, cut the testicular frenulum, cut the testicular tunica vaginalis, examine the testicle, epitestis and vas deferens, remove the excess testicular tunica vaginalis, turn the testicular tunica vaginalis and suture the edges of the tunica vaginalis continuously. Completely peel off the spermatic cord tunica vaginalis from the spermatic cord, and make the spermatic cord fully free and loosen until the testicle can be pulled below the pubic symphysis. Close the processus vaginalis of the peritoneum. If the processus vaginalis is connected to the abdominal cavity, the processus vaginalis should be closed with a purse-string suture at the inner ring. Be careful not to damage the vas deferens and spermatic cord blood vessels. When combined with inguinal hernia, hernia repair should be performed. What is the procedure of hidden testicle surgery? The last step is to expand the scrotum and build the testicular scrotum cavity. Use the index finger to separate the deep fascia of the abdominal wall through the incision to the scrotum, expand the scrotum cavity, and reach the bottom of the scrotum. Use medium-sized silk thread to suture the white membrane under the testis or frenulum to the inner surface of the meat membrane at the bottom of the constructed testicular cavity, so that the testicle is moved into the expanded scrotum cavity. Be careful not to twist the spermatic cord. Close the incision and suture the incision layer by layer. Pay attention to the outer ring to accommodate a little finger. Suturing too tightly may affect the blood supply of the testicle. |
