Male ejaculation frequency

Male ejaculation frequency

Sperm emission is a normal physiological phenomenon in men. The ancients said that when semen is full, it will overflow. Men can have spermatorrhea without sex, and even after marriage, they may occasionally have spermatorrhea. This is within the normal range. However, spermatorrhea also has a frequency. If it happens too often, it is pathological spermatorrhea and needs to be taken seriously. So, what is the frequency of spermatorrhea in men?

Adult unmarried men, or those whose spouses are separated after marriage, may ejaculate 1 to 2 times a month without any discomfort or other symptoms the next day. This is called spermatorrhea, which is a physiological phenomenon.

Pathological

Pathological spermatorrhea is more common in middle-aged and elderly people, or those with congenital physical deficiencies. People with dull complexion, fatigue, heavy smoking, excessive drinking, overeating, fat and sweet food, flabby or weak body, frequent masturbation, excessive sexual intercourse, and sexual desire failure. Frequent spermatorrhea, some ejaculate at night, or ejaculate spontaneously when awake, with small and thin semen, weak erection of the penis during spermatorrhea, or no erection at all, and mental fatigue, soreness of waist and knees, tinnitus, dizziness, and physical weakness after spermatorrhea.

It is mainly caused by the dysfunction of the cortical center and the spinal cord center, as well as certain diseases of the reproductive system, which are described as follows:

A. Mental factors: due to excessive sexual desire and inability to restrain, especially sexual arousal caused by sexual thoughts before sleep, long-term stimulation of the central nervous system during sexual activities, which is very likely to induce ejaculation. (For example, excessive attention to sexual issues, extreme sensitivity to sexual stimulation, too close contact with the opposite sex, watching pornographic books or watching sexually stimulating scenes in movies.)

B. Physical factors: The functions of various organs are not sound enough, such as cerebral cortex dysfunction, loss of control over the lower sexual center, and increased excitement of the erection center and ejaculation center, which can also cause spermatorrhea. (After intense physical or mental work, the body is tired, sleep is deep, and the activity of the subcortical center of the cerebral cortex is enhanced, which can also easily induce spermatorrhea.)

C. Local lesions: Local lesions of the sexual organs or urinary system, such as phimosis, prepuce hyperplasia, urethritis, prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis, epididymitis, etc. These lesions can stimulate the sexual organs and cause spermatorrhea.

Physiological

Men generally experience nocturnal emissions after puberty. In modern society, it is normal for men to have their first nocturnal emissions at ages ranging from 11 or 12 to 15 or even 16. Nocturnal emissions are a sign of sexual maturity in men, the so-called "overflowing semen". They are caused by excessive semen accumulation, so they are also called nocturnal emissions. They are physiological phenomena. Nocturnal emissions mostly occur in dreams and are a type of ejaculation without sexual activity. Statistics show that more than 80% of unmarried men have experienced nocturnal emissions, usually 2 to 3 times a month. As long as you are physically and mentally healthy, there will generally be no adverse effects, but you must be careful not to have any psychological burden.

Physiological spermatorrhea is common in young men who are unmarried or separated after marriage. Healthy, energetic, or easily excited, or tired and nervous. Generally, it occurs once every two weeks or longer, with a large amount of semen and thick semen. The penis erection function is normal during spermatorrhea, and there are no other symptoms. (Sleeping on one's stomach, the quilt is too thick, too heavy, or too warm in winter, which causes the external genitalia to be compressed, rubbed, etc., or wearing tight clothes and pants, which constricts and squeezes the erect penis, which can easily lead to an increase in the number of spermatorrhea.)
