What are the symptoms of nephritis in men?

The kidney is one of the most important organs in the body, because it is the main organ of metabolism, it can bring a lot of benefits to the body, and it can help the body excrete harmful substances in time. Once the kidney is diseased, it will bring great destructive effects to the body. For example, nephritis is one of the common symptoms, and its degree of harm is very high. Let's take a look at the symptoms of nephritis in men.

1. Backache

Many men have back pain, but because there are many causes of back pain, many people do not pay attention to it and often think it is normal and will be fine after a few days of rest. This idea is wrong, but generally the back pain caused by kidney disease is dull back pain and is often not obvious.

2. Increased blood pressure

Nephrology experts point out that about 1/3 of nephritis patients will have elevated blood pressure, which manifests as headaches, memory loss, poor sleep, etc. Patients who seek medical attention for the above symptoms and are found to have elevated blood pressure must have their urine checked, especially young patients.

3. Abnormal urine

Some men find foam in their urine when they urinate, and the foam does not disappear after a period of time. This is what we commonly call foamy urine. A large part of the reason for foamy urine is due to kidney damage, which reduces the ability of the glomerulus to absorb protein in the body, thereby causing the protein to flow out through the urine. Another type of urine abnormality is hematuria, which is the appearance of some red blood cells in the urine. Hematuria is divided into microscopic hematuria and macroscopic hematuria. Generally speaking, the more hematuria there is, the more serious the kidney damage is.

4. Three lows and three highs

When chronic nephritis strikes in men, it mainly manifests as "three lows" and "three highs", with a high incidence, a high prevalence of concomitant cardiovascular diseases, and a high mortality rate; the whole society has a low awareness rate of chronic nephritis, a low prevention and treatment rate, and a low awareness rate of concomitant cardiovascular diseases.

5. Edema

Edema is a symptom that occurs relatively early in male patients, but it is often ignored. Generally, this type of edema will appear in relatively loose areas such as the face and eyelids, and then as the disease progresses, edema of the lower limbs or even the whole body will appear.
