Four types of men cannot have children late in life, or they may lose their status as fathers

As people receive more years of education and work pressure increases, more and more young people choose to marry and have children later. Although marrying and having children later can create better economic living conditions to raise offspring, it cannot make up for a hard injury, that is, the older you are, the worse your fertility becomes. For men, sperm quality will gradually decline with age, especially men with the following characteristics are not suitable for late childbearing.

Four types of men should not have children later in life

1. Patients with reproductive system infection

Patients with reproductive system inflammation such as epididymitis, orchitis, and prostatitis should actively consider early childbearing. Urogenital infections, especially vas deferens obstruction caused by gonorrhea or tuberculosis, and testicular atrophy caused by epididymitis and orchitis, can all lead to male infertility. Patients with a history of urogenital infections, sexual promiscuity, and tuberculosis must receive timely treatment and have children as soon as possible.

2. Patients with varicocele

Varicose veins are a major cause of male infertility, and are more common in young men. The incidence rate accounts for 10% to 15% of the normal male population, and 9% to 41% of the male infertility rate. This is a vascular disease, which usually has no obvious clinical symptoms. A small number of patients will experience scrotal swelling when standing, local swelling and pain, and symptoms radiating to the lower abdomen, groin area or lower back. The symptoms worsen after fatigue or standing for a long time, and the symptoms are relieved or disappear after lying down to rest.

Varicose veins can cause blood to stagnate in the scrotum, leading to high testicular temperature and accumulation of substances that are harmful to the testicles. Over time, this can reduce sperm quality and affect fertility.

3. People who are found to have poor semen quality during physical examination

Some people accidentally discover that their semen quality is poor during a semen test. Although they may not have any plans to have children or even have a girlfriend, these people should closely monitor the quality of their sperm, increase physical exercise, and get married and have children as soon as possible.

4. People whose job nature may affect their fertility

People working in special industries, such as radiologists who are exposed to large amounts of radiation for a long time, and nuclear power plant workers, need to have children as early as possible. This is because male spermatogenic cells are extremely sensitive to radiation, and long-term exposure to large amounts of radiation will damage spermatogenic cells and may increase the rate of sperm abnormalities.

In addition, people who have long-term contact with toxic substances, such as workers in pesticide factories and heavy metal factories, will have long-term contact with toxic substances such as pesticides and heavy metals, which will cause harmful substances such as chlorpyrifos and DDT in pesticides, and lead and mercury in heavy metals to accumulate in their bodies, directly reducing the density and vitality of sperm, and some may even directly damage the testicles. These people should protect themselves at work, and it is best to complete childbearing before or in the early stages of work, and try not to delay childbearing.

In addition, men whose partners are older should also have children early, because the risk of miscarriage, premature birth, stillbirth and various pregnancy complications for pregnant women over 35 years old will increase significantly.
