1: What should I eat if I have too much stomach acid?

1: Steamed Lotus Seeds with Rock Sugar Ingredients: 300g dried lotus seeds, 150g rock sugar, 1 sheet of pork lard (about 200 square centimeters), 1 sheet of cotton paper. Method: 1. Pour hot water into an aluminum pot (cover the lotus seeds), add 12g of alkali, place on medium heat, put the lotus seeds in, rub them repeatedly with a brush, and when the lotus skin is completely removed, quickly remove from heat, rinse with warm water, cut off both ends, and poke out the lotus core with a toothpick. 2. Put the processed lotus seeds into a steaming pot, add an appropriate amount of clean water, steam them in a steamer over high heat for 1 hour, and take them out. Use another bowl to cover the pork lard, place the lotus seeds neatly on the lard, crush the rock sugar, sprinkle it on top, seal it with warm paper, and then steam the lotus seeds in a steamer. 3. 2: Seven-ingredient chicken soup Ingredients: 15g of Dangshen, 10g of processed Pinellia, 10g of ginger, 5g of Coptis chinensis, 10g of dried ginger, 5g of licorice, 10g of jujube, 500g of chicken, 10g of cooking wine, 15g of green onion, 3g of pepper, 6g of salt, and 6g of chicken essence. Method: 1. Wash the above 7 herbs and put them in a basin; wash the chicken and cut it into 4cm pieces; cut the green onion into sections. 2. Put the 7 herbs in a gauze bag, tie it tightly, and put it in a stew pot with the chicken. Add appropriate amount of water, add cooking wine, green onion, and pepper, boil it on high heat, then simmer it for 40 minutes on low heat, add salt and stir well. Efficacy: Strengthen the spleen and stomach, and benefit qi and blood. Suitable for patients with excessive gastric acid and decreased gastric function.

3: Rehmannia Sweet Chicken Ingredients: 250g raw Rehmannia, 30g longan meat, 5 red dates, 1 hen, 150g syrup. Method: 1. Kill the chicken, remove the hair, viscera and claws, wash it clean, cut it from the back neck bone to the tail, wash off the blood, put it in a boiling water pot, cook for 3 minutes and pick it up. 2. Wash the raw Rehmannia root and cut it into 0.5 cm square pellets; tear the longan meat into pieces, mix it with the raw Rehmannia root, add molasses and seasoning, and stuff it into the chicken belly. Put the chicken belly down into the steaming pot, remove the core of the red dates, wash them, put them on the chicken, pour in rice soup, seal the pot mouth with wet cotton, and steam it in the steamer with high heat for 2 hours. Efficacy: Strengthen the spleen and stomach, replenish deficiency, and stop vomiting. Suitable for patients with excessive stomach acid, fatigue, poor appetite, nausea and vomiting.

3. If you have too much stomach acid, you should reduce your food intake

Overeating can easily cause the lower esophageal sphincter to relax. Eat slowly and chew food carefully, and eat small and frequent meals. Dinner should not be overeating. It is not advisable to eat 4 hours before going to bed.
