What are the symptoms of allergic dermatitis?

Allergic dermatitis is a type of skin disease. When allergic dermatitis occurs in the human body, symptoms such as itching, redness, swelling, peeling, and wheals will occur. Different allergens will cause different symptoms. Therefore, people with allergic skin must pay attention to their diet in daily life and stay away from allergens.

Allergic dermatitis symptoms

1. Contact dermatitis

It refers to the local redness, edema, itching and pain after the skin comes into contact with a certain substance. In severe cases, blisters and peeling may occur. Substances that can cause contact dermatitis include jewelry, watch chains, glasses frames, sandals, synthetic fabrics, topical medications, chemicals, cosmetics, etc. Once the above symptoms are found, immediately look for the item that causes the allergy and stop contacting it. People who are prone to contact dermatitis are mostly allergic people.

2. Cosmetic dermatitis

Allergic reactions to cosmetics can cause allergic dermatitis symptoms such as redness, swelling, heat, pain, and blisters. From a medical point of view, if you are allergic to a certain cosmetic, it is best not to use it. For some cosmetics and industries that have to be used, the most scientific way is to fundamentally improve the allergic constitution.

Treatment

1. Treatment goals

Get skin inflammation under control as soon as possible.

2. General principles of prevention

1) Reduce the factors that induce and aggravate the condition and irritants such as mechanical factors (scratching, friction); physical and chemical factors (hot water washing, high temperature, low humidity, irritating drugs); biological factors (animals, plants, microbial infections, etc.); mental tension or depression or digestive dysfunction.

2) Stay away from allergenic factors and reduce allergens in the environment as much as possible, such as inhaled allergens (any substance that can be inhaled through the respiratory tract is a potential allergen), including dust, dust mites, cotton wool, pollen (spring, summer and autumn), animal hair, fungi, insects and smoke.
