When patients have calcification of the nuchal ligament, they usually complain of common symptoms of cervical spondylosis without any special symptoms. Some patients even have no obvious symptoms.

Causes of Neck Pain 5. Trapezius Syndrome

Refers to pain originating from the trapezius muscle. The tenderness may be localized and radiate to the shoulder.
