Eating sunny-side-up eggs often can cause hair loss

There is a component in raw egg protein that blocks the absorption of biotin. Biotin is a B vitamin, also known as vitamin B7 or vitamin H. It is relatively abundant in egg yolks. However, if you eat raw eggs, not only is the biotin in the eggs difficult to absorb, but the biotin in other foods is also inhibited. If you eat two or more raw eggs a day for several months, you may suffer from severe biotin deficiency, with obvious symptoms such as red scaly rashes on the nose and mouth. These symptoms include hair loss, hair discoloration, and eye and white enzyme activity, which affects the digestion and absorption of protein. In addition, there are some protease inhibitors in egg protein. If they are not inactivated by heat, they may inhibit the digestion of eggs in the digestive tract. Considering that people's food contains a lot of protein, this inhibition is only to a certain extent and the impact is limited.

What causes hair loss?

1. Pathological hair loss: mainly due to viruses, bacteria, and high fever that damage hair matrix cells, inhibiting the normal division of hair matrix cells, and putting hair follicles in a state of shock, leading to hair loss. Acute infectious diseases, long-term use of certain drugs, etc., are also causes of hair loss.

2. Seborrheic alopecia: It often occurs in young and middle-aged people, characterized by thick oily secretions on the scalp, shiny, sparse and thin hair, or dry hair with a lot of dandruff, dullness, sparse and thin hair.

3. Chemical hair loss: Harmful chemicals damage the scalp tissue and hair follicle cells, leading to hair loss, such as long-term hair dyeing, perming or using inferior shampoos.

4. Physical hair loss: Hair loss caused by air pollutants clogging hair follicles, harmful radiation, etc. The causes of hair loss include: facing the computer for a long time or being in a relatively dry and dusty environment for a long time, which causes hair loss. Therefore, this is also a cause of hair loss.

5. Nutritional alopecia: Digestive and absorption dysfunction causes malnutrition and leads to hair loss. For example, eating high-fat, pure sugar, high-calorie or single-nutrient food frequently leads to hair loss, which is also a cause of hair loss.
