2. Buy 1 jin of liquor brewed from pure grains. The higher the alcohol content, the better.

Tips: Friends should also pay attention when purchasing Suoyang. Suoyang is a dried whole plant, flat cylindrical or slightly thin at one end, 8-21cm long, 2-5cm in diameter. The surface is reddish brown to dark brown, wrinkled and uneven, forming thick longitudinal grooves or irregular depressions, sometimes triangular scales can be seen, and some inflorescences exist. Suoyang slices are cross-cut or obliquely cut into pieces about 1cm thick, often strung with a string. The ones that are hypertrophic, red, firm, floury when broken, and without obvious veins are preferred.
