Chronic prostatitis diagnosis method

Chronic prostatitis diagnosis method

Nowadays, people's pace of life is getting faster and faster. Busy work makes many people ignore their health. Moreover, many male friends now suffer from chronic prostatitis. The causes of chronic prostatitis are varied and different. So how to diagnose chronic prostatitis? Below we will introduce several symptoms of chronic prostatitis. I hope it can help everyone to detect and treat it early.

1. Urinary discomfort: Bladder irritation symptoms may occur, such as frequent urination, burning and pain in the urethra during urination, and radiating to the glans penis. There may be mucus and other secretions in the urethra in the early morning, and there may also be a feeling of difficulty in urination.

2. Local symptoms: Distension and discomfort in the posterior urethra, perineum and anus, which is aggravated by squatting, defecation and sitting on a chair for a long time.

3. Radiating pain: The pain of chronic prostatitis is not limited to the urethra and perineum, but also radiates to the vicinity, with lower back pain being the most common. In addition, the penis, spermatic cord, testicles and scrotum, lower abdomen, inguinal region (thigh root), thigh, rectum, etc. can all be affected. It should be pointed out that the low back pain caused by chronic prostatitis is in the lower back, which is easy to be confused with low back pain caused by orthopedics such as myofasciitis and lumbar muscle strain, but the latter is mostly near the beltline, which is higher than the low back pain caused by prostatitis and can be distinguished.

4. Sexual dysfunction: Chronic prostatitis can cause loss of libido, painful ejaculation, premature ejaculation, and affect the quality of semen. White discharge from the urethra may occur after urination or defecation, and hematospermia may occur when combined with seminal vesiculitis.

5. Other symptoms: Chronic prostatitis may be accompanied by neurasthenia, manifested by fatigue, dizziness, insomnia, etc. Long-term persistent prostatitis may even cause allergic reactions in the body, resulting in conjunctivitis, arthritis and other lesions.

I believe that male friends have a clearer understanding of the diagnosis of chronic prostatitis. Male friends can diagnose themselves based on the above introduction. If every symptom is consistent, we recommend going to the hospital for a more accurate examination. Early detection and early treatment can prevent chronic prostatitis from causing other diseases.
