Due to the high pressure in society, many men have high uric acid. There are many reasons for this symptom. It may be caused by ventilation or high blood pressure. It may also be caused by unreasonable diet and living habits. Different people have different symptoms, so it depends on each person's situation. Below we will introduce the causes of this condition in detail, hoping to help some patients. You can also treat it according to your own situation. Its indications include: 1. High-risk groups with a family history of gout. 2. People with gout-related diseases, such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. 3. Hyperuricemia. 4. Gouty arthritis (including acute attacks and intermittent periods), gouty nephropathy and uric acid kidney stones. The basic principles of dietary control are not to drink alcohol, not to eat animal organs (such as liver, kidney, brain, heart, intestines, etc.) and meat soup, eat less seafood, and drink plenty of water. Other foods can be eaten appropriately, but if excessive intake of a certain food has indeed caused your gout attack, then it should also be restricted. There is currently no good method for testing the purine content in food, and the reports vary widely. For patients, inaccurate quantitative measurements may be misleading, so this section only proposes some dietary principles that gout patients must adhere to for reference. 1. Total energy: The total energy supply varies from person to person, such as the state of rest and physical labor. The daily energy supply for resting people is 25kcal~30kcal per kilogram of body weight, and the daily energy supply for physical labor is 30kcal~40kcal. For obese or overweight people, the total energy supply should be limited and a low-calorie diet should be adopted, that is, 10kcal~20kcal per kilogram of body weight should be provided every day. Generally speaking, it is advisable for obese people to reduce 50g of staple food every day. 2. Purine intake: Normal people can take up to 600-1000 mg/day of purine. Gout patients should not take more than 100-150 mg per day when arthritis attacks. After treatment, when blood uric acid can be maintained at normal levels for a long time, the intake can be appropriately increased. 3. Carbohydrates: The staple food of gout patients should be mainly carbohydrates, which should account for 50% to 60% of the total calories, or even up to 70%. Rice, corn, flour and its products (such as steamed bread, noodles, bread, etc.) can be used. However, for patients with diabetes, carbohydrate intake should be controlled, and it is appropriate to give 4 to 5 grams per kilogram of body weight per day, which accounts for about 50% to 55% of the total calories. 4. Protein: The daily protein intake should be 0.8-1.0g per kilogram of body weight, accounting for about 12%-14% of the total calories. The daily protein supply can reach about 60g. 5. Fat: The daily fat intake should be 0.6-1g per kilogram of body weight, accounting for about 20%-25% of total calories. People with hyperlipidemia should limit their intake appropriately, especially during acute gout attacks, because a high-fat diet will inhibit uric acid excretion. 6. Salt: People with combined hypertension, heart disease, and kidney damage should limit their salt intake to no more than 6g per day, and generally control it at around 2-5g. 7. Vegetables and fruits: Except for mushrooms, beans (such as lentils), seaweed and spinach, all vegetables can be eaten, and there is no taboo on fruits. Patients can drink appropriate amounts of fruit and vegetable juice, which can make urine alkaline, dissolve crystallized uric acid and make it easier to excrete in urine. At the same time, fruit and vegetable juices contain rich vitamins, which help improve gout symptoms. 8. No alcohol: Gout patients must abstain from alcohol, especially beer, which is most likely to cause gout attacks and should be absolutely prohibited. We have introduced the possibilities of various symptoms and the conditions that should be paid attention to. We hope that it will be of great help to our patients. We must make decisions based on our own situation. The premise of choosing a method that suits us is that we must be clear about the cause of our illness, so that we can prescribe the right medicine and achieve the expected effect. In this way, our patients can achieve the expected effect. |
