Prostate cancer often occurs in the peripheral area, resulting in nodular shadows with limited low or slightly low signal in the peripheral area on T2WI. Therefore, MRI is more valuable for diagnosis than CT. However, when the MRI manifestations of prostate cancer are atypical, diagnosis is still difficult.
