The structure of the male reproductive organs

The most important thing for men is the reproductive organs. The male reproductive organs are relatively complex, including the vas deferens, ejaculatory ducts, spermatic cord and other important parts. The urethra, the most important part of the male reproductive organs, has two main functions: urination and ejaculation. Both functions are indispensable. If there is a problem with the male reproductive organs, it should be checked in time to avoid affecting the health of the body.

Vas deferens

The vas deferens has a strong peristaltic ability because the wall muscles are very thick. Its main function is to transport and excrete sperm. During ejaculation, the sympathetic nerve endings release a large amount of norepinephrine-like substances, which cause the vas deferens to contract in a coordinated and powerful manner, quickly transporting sperm to the sperm excretory duct, ejaculatory duct and urethra.

The main function of the seminal vesicle is to secrete a kind of mucus. It neither produces nor stores sperm. It contains the seminal vesicle gland.

Alkaline colloids such as salt, globulin, citric acid and glycosides. The main components are citric acid (125mg/100ml) and glycosides (315mg/100ml), which are the main components of semen (accounting for about 50% to 80%) and are discharged after prostatic fluid during ejaculation. Glycosides are the main energy source for sperm activity after ejaculation.

Spermatic cord

Its main function is to suspend the testicles and epididymis in the scrotum, protect them from damage, and at the same time contract or relax with temperature changes, so that the testicles can adapt to the external environment, maintain the best conditions for sperm production, and allow the testicles to have involuntary activity (levator testis).

Ejaculatory duct

The main function is ejaculation. The ejaculatory duct wall has rich muscles and strong contraction force, which helps the ejaculation of semen. At the same time, the opening of the ejaculatory duct located on the urethral cliff is small and narrow. In order to ensure the proper pressure during ejaculation, on the other hand, the semen seems to have a "squeezing" feeling when passing through the narrow opening, which triggers the sexual pleasure of ejaculation through nerve reflex, thus reaching the orgasm period.

Penis

Its main functions are urination, semen discharge and sexual intercourse. It is the main organ of sexual behavior. The skin of the penis is extremely thin, there is no fat under the skin, it is mobile and stretchable, and the blood sinuses of the corpus cavernosum of the penis can be attached with blood. When there is no sexual impulse, the penis is soft. During sexual stimulation, the blood and hormones in the blood sinuses of the corpus cavernosum of the penis increase, and the penis becomes enlarged, thickened, hardened and erect. When the inflowing blood and the returning blood are equal, the penis continues to be erect. The head of the penis has rich nerve endings and is extremely sexy. When sexual intercourse reaches a climax, ejaculation is caused by the high excitement of the ejaculation center. If the penis cannot erect or is not hard enough under sexual stimulation, sexual intercourse cannot be performed, which is called "impotence". Abnormal penile erection or penile deformity may cause sexual intercourse difficulties.

The development of male reproductive organs is very important for male friends. If there are symptoms of maldevelopment, they should be examined and treated in time to avoid affecting future sexual life. This is the most important organ, which is rich in corpora cavernosa. When highly excited, erectile behavior will occur, and these behaviors are all normal.
