What to do if you have ureteral stone pain

In recent years, with the pollution of the environment, more and more people are suffering from stones, especially women, who have a higher rate of suffering from stones than men. Ureteral stone pain is a common disease. What should we do about ureteral stone pain? Let us introduce the treatment methods of this disease.

Ureteral stone pain is one of the common symptoms of ureteral stones, which is often manifested as acute colic, and a few cases have dull back pain or abdominal pain. The location of pain and radiation range vary according to the location of stone obstruction. When the upper ureter is obstructed, the pain is located in the waist or upper abdomen, and radiates along the ureter to the ipsilateral testicle or labia and inner thigh. When the middle ureter is obstructed, the pain radiates to the middle and lower abdomen. When the stone is located in the ureteral bladder wall or ureteral opening, it is often accompanied by bladder irritation symptoms and radiating pain in the urethra and penis head.

1. Finger pressure to relieve pain: Use your thumb to press the outer edge of the sacrospinal muscle on the affected side and the transverse process of the third lumbar vertebra to relieve or alleviate pain.

2. Relieve spasms and relieve pain: Always have painkillers on hand and follow your doctor's instructions for specific dosage.

3. Local closure of skin allergy areas: First use a pin to identify the skin allergy area on the affected side of the waist, and then use drugs to infiltrate and occlude the allergic area intradermally and subcutaneously, which can sometimes achieve significant analgesic effect.

4. Acupuncture therapy: Select acupoints such as Shenyu, Zhishi, Sanyinjiao, etc., use strong stimulation techniques, or use specific drugs to block the acupoints.

The above are the solutions to ureteral stone pain. The most common symptom of this disease is lower abdominal pain, which can usually be relieved by massage. In severe cases, medication and surgery are needed to completely remove the stones in the ureter, so that the pain will no longer occur.
