Male urogenital "five inflammations"

Male urogenital "five inflammations"

The most serious male urinary and reproductive system diseases are sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS transmitted through unclean sexual intercourse. In addition to being manifested in the urinary and reproductive system, they can also be transferred to various organs throughout the body and even develop into cancer. In addition, what other diseases are most likely to occur in the male urinary and reproductive system? Clinically, the common male urinary and reproductive infections are mainly "five inflammations". The following is a special introduction for reference by male friends.

1. Male urinary and reproductive infections "five inflammations"

Male urogenital infection refers to the disease caused by the infection of the male urogenital system (urethra, prostate, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicle, etc.) by bacteria, viruses or parasites. Statistics show that in recent years, the number of people with urogenital infection in my country has been increasing, and there are more than 20 types of urinary diseases in clinical practice. Common male urogenital infection diseases mainly include the "five inflammations": urethritis, prostatitis, nonbacterial prostatitis, epididymitis, and seminal vesiculitis.

1. Urethritis

Urethritis is mostly caused by urine retrograde, which causes bacteria to directly invade the urethra and cause infection. In the acute stage, the symptoms include congestion and edema of the urethral mucosa, or the formation of erosion and ulcer, red and swollen urethral opening, mucous or purulent secretions, tenderness and hardening of the urethra; severe cases may affect the epididymis and spermatic cord. When you are sick, you should rest more, avoid drinking, and avoid intimate life with your partner.

2. Prostatitis

Prostatitis is mostly caused by direct spread of urethritis, or acute inflammation of other tissues and organs caused by blood and lymph infection. Acute prostatitis has an acute onset, and is often manifested by general weakness, back pain, discomfort and a sense of falling in the perineum and anus, accompanied by urinary pain, frequent urination, and urgency. Some people also experience decreased physiological needs and male physiological dysfunction.

3. Nonbacterial prostatitis

Nonbacterial prostatitis has symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and physiological dysfunction, but laboratory tests often cannot detect bacteria.

It is mainly caused by factors such as excessive intimacy, prolonged physiological excitement, or excessive congestion of the pelvis due to long-term riding or sitting in a car.

4. Epididymitis

Epididymitis is caused by retrograde spread of urethral stenosis, prostatic hyperplasia, urethritis and other infections. Clinically, when there are lesions in the epididymis, it may also cause male infertility.

In the acute stage, symptoms include scrotal swelling and pain, which may pull on the lower abdomen and thighs, making it difficult to walk. Improper treatment in the acute stage may turn into chronic epididymitis, so acute stage treatment must be comprehensive.

5. Seminal vesiculitis

Seminal vesiculitis is a common urinary tract infection in young men, caused by bacteria and other factors. Patients will experience symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, pain, difficulty urinating, burning sensation in the urethra, chills and fever.

When seminal vesiculitis is in the acute stage, the pain caused may also spread to the perineum and groin, and in the chronic stage, the patient may also experience symptoms such as physiological dysfunction. In order to prevent seminal vesiculitis from prolonging, both acute and chronic seminal vesiculitis should be treated comprehensively and systematically.

2. Experts’ views on male urogenital diseases

The characteristics of male urogenital system infection are multiple infections, latent infections, multi-organ infections, and infections with opportunistic pathogens.

Its harm can be summarized into three aspects: first, it directly damages the diseased organs and affects their normal physiological functions;

Second, it may directly affect physiological functions and lead to male infertility;

Third, it will have a great impact on the patient's psychology and physiology. The decline of the autoimmune function will often induce other diseases in the body, especially various complications of the urinary and reproductive systems. It is also easy to induce urinary and reproductive system lesions. Some urinary infections will also spread and affect the spouse or family members, affecting the harmony of the family. Therefore, no matter which part of the reproductive organs the symptoms appear, we must actively prevent and treat them scientifically in a timely manner.
