How to treat night sweats in men

Sweating during sleep is called "sweating at night". Sweating at night is a disease name in traditional Chinese medicine. It is characterized by abnormal sweating after falling asleep and stopping sweating after waking up. "Sweating at night" means stealing. In ancient times, traditional Chinese medicine used the sorcerer's sneaky activities every night to describe this disease. Every time people fall asleep or just close their eyes and fall asleep, sweat leaks out like a sorcerer. So how to treat men's sweating at night?

Some patients with diaphoresis sweat as soon as they fall asleep, some sweat after falling asleep late at night, and some sweat as soon as they close their eyes. The amount of sweat varies greatly. According to the clinical symptoms of patients with diaphoresis, they can be divided into three types: mild, medium and severe.

Most patients with mild hyperhidrosis sweat easily when they are deep in sleep, around 5 am, or 1 to 2 hours before waking up. The amount of sweat is small. They only feel a little sweat all over the body or some parts of the body after waking up. After waking up, there is no sweat again. It is generally not accompanied by discomfort.

For patients with mild to moderate hyperhidrosis, most of them sweat soon after falling asleep, and even their sleeping clothes are wet. They stop sweating after waking up, and after wiping the sweat off their body, they stop sweating when they go back to sleep. For this type of hyperhidrosis, patients often experience a feeling of hot wind, sweating, and sometimes a feeling of dry mouth and dry throat after waking up.

Patients with severe hyperhidrosis sweat easily. Soon after falling asleep or just when closing their eyes and falling asleep, they sweat a lot. They may wake up after sweating, and the sweat will stop immediately after waking up. They may sweat again when they fall asleep again. The amount of sweat is large, and the sweat often has a light salty taste, or the sweat is also stained with sweat odor. Sweating can even make the quilt wet, and it is impossible to fall asleep without changing sleeping clothes several times a night. Some patients with severe symptoms can make the quilt wet. When the quilt is thin or a mat is used, the sweat can leave sweat marks on the bed frame.

Such patients are often accompanied by a significant sense of drying out, and their mood is also irritable, they feel dry mouth and thirst after sweating, and they like cold water. Usually they may be accompanied by low fever or hot flashes, fever in the five parts of the body, flushed cheeks, dizziness, weight loss, fatigue, dark urine, less urination, and constipation. Mild and moderate diarrhoea will not cause great harm to the human body, but patients with severe diarrhoea will always become more serious over time, and tend to "de-symptomize", which seriously endangers the patient's physical and mental health and personal safety.
