1) After the operation, you should rest in bed for 3-4 days and avoid standing or sitting for a long time. 2) Wear loose underwear. After the operation, the doctor will usually place a gauze curtain on the perineum after bandaging the wound to reduce the friction of the glans penis.

3) It is normal for the glans penis to be slightly edematous within 3 to 4 days after the operation. This is a reaction of the body caused by anesthesia and surgery. Note that the swelling is pink at this time.

4) Do not wet the dressing when urinating. If it is soaked with urine, it should be replaced as soon as possible. You can prepare 75% alcohol or 1:1000 new germination cotton balls or isotonic saline cotton balls, wipe the area around the urethra after urinating, keep the wound dressing clean, or soak the head of the penis with 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution in warm water every day.

5) Take sedatives such as diazepam 2.5 mg before bedtime within 3-4 days after the operation to prevent penile erection, pain or bleeding. Young people should be more careful because the nerve endings of the penis head, which has been covered for a long time, are very sensitive. Once exposed, it is easy to get an erection. Therefore, they should avoid watching pornographic books and watching TV. Lovers should temporarily avoid hugging, kissing, etc. to avoid sexual stimulation.

6) Keep a stable mood within one week after the operation, refrain from sexual intercourse for 40 days, and try to avoid erection to prevent the incision from splitting, bleeding and infection. If an erection occurs, take a deep breath and come to the hospital for a follow-up if necessary.

7) Do not eat spicy food within one week.

8) Use antibiotics as directed by the doctor within one week after surgery and change the dressing every other day. If the dressing is wet, come to the hospital immediately or change the dressing at a nearby hospital.

9) If swelling or bleeding persists after the operation, you need to go to the hospital for follow-up.
