Men experience lower abdominal pain after sex

Men usually feel tired after having sex, but if they have lower abdominal pain after having sex, it is likely that they have inflammation in their reproductive system. In this case, it is best to go to the hospital for an examination. Prostatitis is a common disease in men. When it occurs, there will be lower abdominal pain, discomfort in urination, and in severe cases, general weakness.

Sexual intercourse consumes a certain amount of physical energy, accelerates blood circulation, and dilates capillaries, which can cause intermittent pain in the lower abdomen or around the umbilicus. Pain after ejaculation in men is usually caused by prostatitis. During ejaculation, prostatic fluid is also ejected. Since sexual intercourse causes a large amount of congestion in the prostate, the inflamed gland is prone to pain when it contracts. In addition to lower abdominal distension and pain, what other symptoms does prostatitis have?

Prostatitis symptoms

1. Pain symptoms: Pain occurs in the perineum, inner thighs, testicles, penis, around the anus, lumbar sacral area, and even the entire lower limbs, with varying degrees of swelling, pain and discomfort.

2. Sexual dysfunction: Chronic prostatitis can cause loss of libido and painful ejaculation, premature ejaculation, and affect the quality of semen. White discharge from the urethra may occur after urination or defecation, and hematospermia may occur when combined with seminal vesiculitis.

3. Urinary discomfort: Bladder irritation symptoms may occur, such as frequent urination, burning and pain in the urethra during urination, and radiating to the glans penis. In the early morning, there may be mucus and other secretions in the urethra, and there may also be a feeling of difficulty in urination.

4. Systemic symptoms: Neurasthenia, manifested by fatigue, dizziness, insomnia, etc.; long-term prostatitis can even cause allergic reactions in the body, resulting in conjunctivitis, arthritis and other lesions.

When men experience lower abdominal pain after sexual intercourse, it is usually an early sign of prostatitis. If it is not treated promptly, it may cause other symptoms. It should be detected and treated early to avoid missing the best treatment time.
