Keratitis: treatments to take at different stages

Keratitis is not a very common disease in life, but it is not as rare as some diseases. According to medical experts, the pathogenesis of keratitis is not yet clear, and some scholars believe that it is a stratum corneum adhesion disorder. Although the cause is not very clear, it is relatively simple to treat.

Treatment is relatively simple

The treatment of keratinitis is relatively simple. You can apply urea ointment or vitamin E ointment, petroleum jelly and other oily ointments to the cracked and peeling skin. The former can soften the stratum corneum, while the latter can moisturize and protect. It should be applied frequently after healing as a hand care. Treatment methods Palm peeling is seasonal and tends to heal on its own. Generally, no special treatment is required. For those with more severe or recurrent cases, Western medicine often uses sedatives, antihistamines and anticholesterol drugs for treatment.

1. Water blisters stage

During the blisters stage, the main focus should be on astringing and relieving itching. You can apply Chinese medicine Fu Kang Jie ointment externally, or soak in 10% alum solution.

2. Peeling stage

Outside the peeling stage, medication can be used to protect the newly grown epidermis, and Fu Kang Jie ointment can be applied externally.

3. Dry skin

Patients with dry skin, thickened keratin and small cracks can apply the moisturizing and crack-proof "Fukangmei Ointment" externally. In addition, be careful not to tear off the keratin layer that has not been completely peeled off, so as not to cause pain or bleeding.

4. Recurrent attacks

For more serious or recurrent cases, Liuwei Dihuang Pills or Liuwei Dihuang Decoction can be used with the following ingredients: 20g Rehmannia glutinosa, 15g Chinese yam, 10g Cornus officinalis, 10g Cortex Moutan, 10g Zexie, 15g Poria, 15g Saposhnikovia divaricata, 30g Tribulus terrestris. Add water to the above ingredients and boil them for consumption. Generally, 3-5 doses are enough to see the effect.

5. Vitamin C

Apply vitamin C injection to the affected area twice a day for a course of 3 days. It has a good effect on the recovery of skin damage.

method:

Wash your hands first, wait until they are slightly dry, pour vitamin C injection into your palms, then rub the liquid evenly with both palms, and wash it off when the liquid dries and turns white. Twice a day, 2 ml each time. Efficacy: There are reports of using vitamin C to treat patients with hand peeling. For mild cases, it takes one time to show significant effect, and for severe cases, it takes three times to show significant effect, and it can be cured in a few days.
