The distribution map of the five internal organs in the human body. Everyone knows that the human body has five internal organs, but many people don't know where the five internal organs are actually located. Let's take a look at the distribution map of the five internal organs in the human body.

Distribution diagram of the five internal organs in the human body

Traditional Chinese medicine divides the key internal organs of the human body into two categories: zang (organs) and fu (fu organs). Zang (organs) include the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys. They mainly refer to some organs with rich internal tissues in the chest and abdomen. Their function is to store essence. Essence refers to the nutrients that can nourish the five zang (organs) and six fu organs and maintain life activities. Fu organs include the gallbladder, stomach, intestines, colon, bladder, and triple burner (six fu organs). Most of them refer to some hollow organs in the chest and abdomen. They have the function of digesting food, absorbing nutrients, and metabolizing them.

Now that we know the distribution of the five internal organs in the human body, what are the actual functions of the five internal organs? Let's learn about the functions of the five internal organs below.

Functions of the five internal organs

1. Heart

The heart controls the blood vessels, so like the liver, it is related to deficiency of qi and blood and blood stagnation. The heart controls the spirit, so when the heart is sick, it is very easy to have memory loss and insomnia, leading to mental obstacles.

2. Liver

Liver disease can cause deficiency of Qi and blood, and blood stagnation. Similarly, deficiency of Qi and blood, and blood stagnation can also cause liver disease. If you have a strong liver, you are less likely to get sick. On the contrary, if your liver is weak, you are very likely to get sick. Weakness, susceptibility to severe colds, tonsillitis, swollen lymph nodes, etc. are all caused by abnormal liver function.

3. Liver

The spleen digests and absorbs the nutrients in food, converts them into easily digestible nutrients, and transmits them to the internal organs of the body. Abnormalities in the liver often reduce the digestive capacity, leading to malnutrition and weight loss. Failure of the spleen function can lead to deficiency of Qi and blood and easy bleeding.

4. Lungs

The gas enters the human body through photosynthesis in the lungs, providing the necessary CO2. The lungs show abnormalities such as wheezing, coughing and other vocal organ symptoms. If the lungs are infected with symptoms, the lungs will swell and the skin will gradually become dry.

5. Kidney function

The kidneys store essence, so some people call them a measure of human vitality. Fragility is a sign of kidney deficiency. All the water in the body is under the control of the kidneys. Edema, stagnation, diabetes insipidus, frequent urination, etc. are all caused by kidney deficiency.

6. Courage

When the stomach, intestines and other organs of the human body start digestion and when to stop are all determined by the gallbladder. The most obvious example is the quality of sleep. It takes a lot of "confidence" to make all the organs of the human body enter a resting state, so people with a weak courage always suffer from insomnia.

7. Stomach

The stomach digests food into nutrients that are easily digestible. Loss of appetite, indigestion, nausea and vomiting are all symptoms of gastritis.

8. Colon

When the colon absorbs nutrients from food, it divides them into three types: water, air, and blood, and then enters the corresponding organs of the human body. Indigestion, diarrhea, and constipation are all symptoms of the colon.

9. Intestines

The intestines bear the residues after digestion and absorption by the human organs and then excrete them out of the body. Constipation and diarrhea are intestinal symptoms. Enteritis can cause redness and swelling of the anus, and even lead to hemorrhoids and anal bleeding.

10. Bladder

The bladder collects the body's water and then delivers it to the required locations, and then discharges unnecessary water out of the body. Symptoms of cystitis are edema and frequent urination.

11. Triple Burner

The triple energizer can promote the circulation of qi, blood and body fluids, allowing the internal organs of the human body to fully utilize their functions. Therefore, if the triple energizer is sick, it will also affect the physical and mental health of the internal organs of the human body.
