Smoking

The more you smoke every day, the higher the incidence of sperm abnormalities. The longer you smoke, the more sperm abnormalities you will have. It is worth noting that the harm of smoking is not limited to increasing the number of sperm abnormalities, but can also lead to asthenospermia.

Nutritional Deficiency

Zinc and selenium are the most important trace elements related to sperm production and maturation. When zinc and selenium are deficient, the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonad axis is affected, causing the pituitary gland to secrete less gonadotropin, gonadal function to decline, sperm production to decrease, and thus increase the rate of sperm deformity.

Temperature is too high

When the temperature of the scrotum rises due to various reasons, it will affect the development of sperm, such as wearing tight underwear for a long time, sitting for a long time (driving, riding a car), taking a hot bath, working in a high temperature environment, etc.
