Is sperm abnormality congenital?

Sperm is something we are all very familiar with. The conception of a baby is the combination of sperm and egg. However, to have a healthy baby, both parents should do a detailed examination before pregnancy. Not only should the body be healthy, but also the sperm and egg should be checked to see if they are qualified. For some people, sperm deformity is common. Many people do not know much about this, so is this congenital?

1. Chromosomal abnormality: If the abnormal sperm accounts for more than 70%, the patient is likely to have chromosomal mutation. At this time, a chromosome examination should be performed. Chromosomal diseases are more difficult to treat.

2. Inflammation causes sperm abnormality: It is common in urogenital tract infection, congenital testicular dysplasia, orchitis complicated by mumps, epididymal tuberculosis, chronic poisoning, malnutrition, excessive mental tension, excessive sexual intercourse, varicocele, etc., which are all causes of sperm abnormality.

3. Reproductive organ lesions: If the testicles, epididymis, and seminal vesicles are exposed to radiation, it can cause sperm mutations. The cause of teratospermia is related to sperm cell mutations, radiation intensity, and exposure time.

4. High temperature and alcoholism are the causes of sperm abnormalities: Long-term high temperature in the scrotum and long-term alcoholism are the causes of teratozoospermia. Alcoholism and long-term drinking of strong alcohol with high alcohol content can damage the function of testicular spermatogenic cells, interfere with sperm growth and maturation, and cause sperm abnormalities.

5. Hormones or certain chemical drugs lead to sperm abnormalities: Long-term use of glucocorticoids, anticancer drugs, reserpine, mylerin, furans, etc. also interfere with sperm cell division and sperm maturation, and can also lead to sperm abnormalities. It is particularly noteworthy that relatively minor sperm abnormalities can sometimes make a wife pregnant, but such pregnancy is prone to embryonic cessation, miscarriage, premature birth, and is not good for the health of the next generation.

As for whether sperm abnormality is congenital, I have already introduced it. Many families want a healthy baby, but when sperm is abnormal, this dream is very far away. Many newborns are born with defects, which is not only a regret for the family. So friends who want children should pay attention, and everyone should read the editor's introduction carefully.
