How to tell the quality of sperm

In fact, having a baby is a science. If the quality of the father's sperm is high in cost-effectiveness with the mother's egg cells, it can help the pregnant woman avoid many problems during pregnancy. And if the quality of the sperm is good, it can make the baby in the belly have better conditions. Every parent hopes to have a healthy and good-looking baby, but how can we judge the quality of sperm?

How to judge the quality of sperm

The quality of sperm can only be known by going to the hospital for a detailed routine semen examination. Poor sperm quality includes oligospermia, asthenospermia, necrospermia, sperm abnormalities, sperm liquefaction, etc., all of which are attributed to poor sperm quality. How is the quality of male sperm tested:

1. Semen color: Normal semen is milky white or light yellow, which is normal. However, if a man's semen turns yellow for a long time or appears bright red, the quality of semen has been seriously affected, which will affect fertility.

2. Total amount of semen at night: The total amount of semen at night is a key indicator that affects fertility. If a man has less semen at night due to frequent masturbation or excessive sexual intercourse, there is no need to worry too much. Generally, it will not affect fertility. However, the habit of frequent masturbation must be stopped as soon as possible, and sexual intercourse should be maintained regularly.

3. The shape of semen: Normal semen is liquid, but many men have semen that does not liquefy, which will restrict the movement of sperm, affect the fusion of sperm and egg cells, and affect pregnancy.

4. Sperm evaporation time: Under normal circumstances, sperm becomes jelly under the condensation and hydrolysis of the seminal vesicle, and becomes liquid under the evaporation and hydrolysis of the prostate gland after 15 to 30 minutes. This is sperm liquefaction. If the sperm ejaculated by a man still does not evaporate after 30 minutes, it is an abnormal situation and should be paid attention to, which will limit the motility of sperm and affect pregnancy.
