The best medicine for treating urinary incontinence

Generally, you don't need to wait to urinate, you can basically urinate in the bathroom. However, in daily life, some men often stand by the urinal for a long time without being able to defecate, which is very embarrassing. In some cases, it may be due to excessive anxiety, and in other cases, it is closely related to human diseases. In clinical medicine, this condition of men is called urine retention. So, what kind of treatment medicine is the most effective for men with urine retention?

When urinary retention occurs, it is recommended to conduct further tests to determine the cause of urinary retention. Only by knowing the cause can the best treatment medication be selected for treatment. Possible causes and medications:

1. If it is a man, it is most commonly caused by prostatitis and prostatic hyperplasia. Generally, young men are mainly caused by prostatitis, while men over 45 years old are mainly caused by prostatic hyperplasia. It is recommended to have a routine semen examination and a male prostate ultrasound examination. If prostatitis exists, anti-infection treatment is recommended. The treatment drug can be selected from 1 capsule of cefixime capsule, twice a day, for 1 week; 3 tablets of prostate tablets, 3 times a day, for 1 month. For patients over 50 years old with significant urinary retention, it is recommended to take 1 capsule of tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule orally, once a day, for 1 month.

2. When urinary tract infection, urethral stones and other obstructive symptoms, or urethral stenosis and other symptoms occur, urinary delay may also occur. It is recommended to perform urethroscopy to confirm whether the urethral opening is narrow or has stones, and to perform urine pattern examination to confirm whether there is infection. If there is infection, it is recommended to select more sensitive antibiotics for treatment according to the bacteria found. For example, cefuroxime sodium, 1.5 grams, intravenous drip, twice a day.

If there are urethral stones, urethroscopic lithotripsy is recommended; if there is urethral stenosis, urethral dilation should be performed regularly. Oral medication is not effective in this case.
