Bleeding after shaving

Bleeding when shaving is because the skin is relatively dry, which causes scratches on the skin. This will leave wounds on the skin. We should pay attention to the treatment of the wounds to avoid infection, and use gauze or cotton swabs to stop the bleeding. After the wound heals, there may be scars. We can use ginger to wipe or apply vitamin E to remove scars.

1. Pressure hemostasis method

Just press the bleeding area with your hands. For small wounds, whether you press directly with your hands or through gauze or cotton swabs, it can effectively stop the bleeding. (Be careful - don't look at it and then press it, this will not stop the bleeding well)

2. Bandaging and hemostasis methods

Just use a clean hemostatic cloth, medical gauze or elastic cotton cloth at home, first wrap a circle of the appropriate size cloth around the wound (the cloth used should be larger than the wound, and must be infected to prevent infection), then slowly bandage it with moderate force, and finally tie it with a bandage. (Be careful not to use too much force, otherwise it will easily cause necrosis of the bleeding area; the force should not be too light, otherwise it will cause the bandage to be loose and will not have other hemostatic effects)

3. Binding method to stop bleeding

A tourniquet is used. First, place a clean cloth on the bleeding area (do not let the tourniquet directly touch the wound, which can easily expand the wound), and then place the tourniquet on the cloth. The looseness and tightness should be moderate, so as not to fail to stop the bleeding. (Be careful - the tourniquet should generally be loosened after about an hour. When the bleeding stops, loosen the tourniquet appropriately.)

4. Hemostasis by packing

It is to plug the wound with clean paper or cotton swabs until the bleeding stops. For example, when the nose is bleeding, we usually plug the nose with soft paper, and then remove the paper when the nose stops bleeding. (Be careful - this method of plugging can easily damage the tissue at the wound. If the method is not appropriate, it can easily lead to infection. This method is best used under the guidance of a doctor)

5. Fixation and hemostasis method

For people who have bleeding fractures, first fix the fracture (the fixer should be larger than the fracture so that it is not easy to touch the wound), then use gauze or clean cotton cloth to stop the wound, and then use a bandage to mark it. (Be careful - the bandage here refers to those wider and softer things. Do not tie it directly with a rope, which will not only fail to stop the wound, but may also aggravate the degree of the fracture)
