Testicular rupture

Testicular rupture is quite common in life, especially when wearing tight underwear. Friction often causes testicular rupture. We should pay attention to the hygiene of the ruptured area to avoid bacterial infection, especially when the testicles sweat frequently. Physiological saline can be used for sterilization. If the testicular rupture is more serious, you need to go to the hospital for hemostatic treatment in time.

Testicular injuries are usually caused by being kicked or hit, or riding injuries when falling from a height. These injuries are usually contusions or ruptures. Changes caused by contusions are mostly tissue or cell edema, which can return to normal after the wound heals. Ruptures can damage spermatogenic cells or block the discharge channel, which will affect fertility. Common testicular injuries include the following situations.

1. There is severe pain at the time of injury, but it returns to normal the next day. This is because the nerve endings on the surface of the testicle are more abundant and sensitive, and there is little internal damage, which does not affect fertility.

2. The testicles are severely injured, with mild local congestion that subsides after a few days. The injury is local damage or subcutaneous blood vessel damage, and fertility will not be affected after repair.

3. Severe testicular rupture. There are blood spots at the injured area, blood swelling in the scrotum, and obvious pain and tenderness. After surgical repair, some fertility functions are retained. Although the testicles of a few people can heal naturally, they completely lose their fertility functions due to fibrosis.

4. Some people's testicular damage is not serious, but the blood-testicular barrier is damaged, allowing sperm antigens to enter the blood circulation and produce anti-sperm antibodies, which causes sperm to agglutinate or stop and lose the ability to fertilize, affecting fertility.
