The penis is a relatively sensitive part of the male body, so it is necessary to pay attention to hygiene at all times, and it must be kept dry at ordinary times and develop good hygiene habits. If small pimples grow on the penis, there are many reasons for penis pimples, such as folliculitis, eczema, and genital warts. It is best to go to a men's hospital for examination as soon as possible. After the cause is determined, symptomatic treatment should be given to avoid missing the best treatment time. Eczema is a common skin disease, which is often accompanied by itching of varying degrees, various forms of skin damage, and recurring symptoms. It can occur at any age, in any part of the body, and in any season, but often recurs or worsens after winter. In recent years, the incidence of eczema has been on the rise, which may be related to climate and environmental changes, the use of a large number of chemical products in life, mental stress, accelerated pace of life, and changes in dietary structure. According to the different symptoms of eczema, it can be divided into scrotal eczema, breast eczema, anal eczema, etc. Scrotal eczema is the most common type of eczema, which is limited to the scrotal skin, sometimes extends to the anus, and a few can extend to the penis. The patient will experience severe itching, and the rash will be polymorphic and prone to recurrence. It can be treated, but to achieve the goal of a complete cure, the individual needs to pay attention to hygiene, choose good medications, persist in treatment, and avoid infection. The causes of scrotal eczema are complex and can be divided into internal and external factors. 1. Internal factors. People with allergic constitutions, people who are in a state of mental tension for a long time, and people with unstable emotions are prone to this disease; in addition, people with certain diseases, such as chronic digestive system diseases and endocrine disorders, are also prone to this disease under the influence of external factors. 2. External factors: The underwear is uncomfortable or not loose enough; some drugs may cause eczematous drug eruption. Eczema is generally divided into three stages: acute, subacute, and chronic. The acute stage has an exudative tendency, while the chronic stage is infiltrative and hypertrophic. The skin lesions are characterized by polymorphism, symmetry, itching, and easy recurrence. Scrotal eczema will cause itching and pimples on the scrotal skin, and purulent discharge after rupture. It often occurs on the skin of the thigh opposite the scrotum, one side or both sides, mostly in the form of annular or semi-annular patches. At first, a small piece of erythema appears on the inner side of the upper thigh, with desquamation on it, and gradually expands and spreads to the surrounding areas, with clear boundaries, papules, blisters, and scabs on it. The central part can heal by itself, with pigmentation or desquamation. Over time, the local skin will become infiltrated, thickened, and lichenified, often accompanied by itching. In severe cases, it often spreads to the inner thigh, perineum, or around the anus, with a clear lower edge. Sometimes it can also spread to the scrotum, the root of the penis, etc. The main symptom of acute scrotal eczema is itching. The characteristics of the rash are as follows: 1. Densely distributed millet-sized papules or small blisters with flushed base can be found in the scrotum. 2. Due to scratching caused by itching, papules, papule herpes, blisters and other skin lesions are scratched, and serum continuously seeps out, often soaking the underwear and forming erosive surfaces. Subacute scrotal eczema is a transformation from acute scrotal eczema, characterized by mild thickening and mild erosion of the scrotal skin, more scaling, little exudate, and still severe itching. Chronic scrotal eczema, due to long-term and constant scratching, makes the skin of the scrotum dry and thick, with deep wrinkles and walnut-like skin, often with thin scabs and scales, and darker skin pigmentation; there are also cases where scratching causes pigmentation to fade. Due to the difficulty in treatment and repeated failure to heal, the scrotal skin may change like eczema. |
