Why is there a lump under a man's nipple that hurts when touched?

1. Breast diseases are generally emphasized in health education for women. 2. Breast pain is partly due to the stimulation of the mammary glands by estrogen and progesterone, which causes breast swelling. Sometimes there is also nipple pain and transparent discharge. This condition usually occurs before menstruation and disappears after the end of menstruation.

Some people may experience irregular breast pain. This type of breast pain does not necessarily mean breast tumors. Even if you can feel a breast lump, it does not necessarily mean breast cancer. 3. Some pains or lumps are initially diagnosed as breast tumors. Most of these breast tumors are benign, but they may also be the precursors of breast cancer:

Breast fibrocystic cyst: This is the most common benign breast tumor, mostly occurring in women over 30 years old. It is often multiple and occurs in both breasts. There will be swelling and tenderness, and the symptoms will be more severe before menstruation.

Breast fibroadenoma: It is common in women around 20 years old. A lump can be felt in the breast, but there is no tenderness.

Enlarged milk ducts: It is often found in women around 40 years old. The nipples on both sides will secrete some sticky liquid. The patient will have a burning sensation and dull pain in the areola area. When palpated, curved and enlarged milk ducts will be found under the areola.
