Testicular pain is a phenomenon that men are prone to in life. Testicular pain can be divided into acute persistent pain or chronic frequent pain. Therefore, we need to use these pains to determine what causes it. The most common ones are orchitis and testicular damage. 1. Medically, testicular pain can be roughly divided into two types: acute persistent pain and chronic recurrent pain. 2. Acute pain, more common in orchitis and injury. In addition to bloodstream infection, orchitis is more common when bacteria retrograde through the urethra to the epididymis and testicles, causing epididymitis and orchitis. Clinically, epididymis and testicle swelling and pain can be seen. Testicular injury has a history of trauma and local swelling and congestion. Vigorous exercise or sexual intercourse and violence can sometimes cause severe testicular pain. 3. Chronic pain, which lasts for a long time if it is mild. The pain is mild, generalized, and has radiating pain, so it is not easy to determine the exact location of the inflammation. Testicular pain is not necessarily proportional to the severity of the inflammation. Some people are very sensitive to nerves, and mild inflammation can cause severe pain; while some people are more slow and feel that it is mild. At this time, you must carefully identify and go to the hospital for examination to confirm the real cause in order to effectively treat the symptoms. 4. Bilateral epididymitis can cause infertility. Epididymitis is a common disease among male urogenital system infections. It often occurs in young or middle-aged people. Epididymal inflammation can affect epididymal function and change the internal environment of the epididymis, thereby affecting sperm maturation and reducing its fertilization ability; inflammation can also cause epididymal duct obstruction, affecting sperm output, all of which can cause clinical infertility. 5. Clinically, bilateral chronic epididymitis is prone to oligospermia and infertility. In order to maximize the fertility of the patient, the treatment must be timely and thorough. If it is not treated thoroughly and remains unhealed for a long time, scar formation will eventually block the lumen, resulting in loss of fertility. Patients with recurrent attacks and abscesses can undergo epididymectomy. If both epididies are removed, fertility will not be preserved. |
