What are the treatments for prostate pain?

Prostatitis is a common disease nowadays. Its main symptom is abnormal urine flow. It can be said that prostatitis has a great impact on the lives of our patients. Therefore, we must treat prostatitis as early as possible so that we can recover soon. There are also many treatment methods for prostatitis. Let's take a look at them now.

Prostatitis is a discomfort similar to chronic prostatitis caused by spasmodic pain in the urethral muscles, prostate muscles, or muscles of the perineum and pelvic floor. Patients with prostatitis have abnormal urine flow, including slow urine flow and unclean urine flow; the urine flow chart shows serrated waves and decreased urine flow, which is characterized by mild damage to or normal maximum urine flow rate, and a significant decrease in the average urine flow rate, or the average urine flow rate is still at the lower limit of normal, but urination continues to be prolonged, and some patients with a long course of disease may have obvious residual urine.

Increased urinary frequency, urgency and nocturia. Pain and discomfort are mainly felt in the perineum, abdominal groove, testicles, lumbar sacrum, lower abdomen and pubic arch, and are more prominent in the penis and urethra. Typical cases may be significantly aggravated by ejaculation, urination and defecation, and may even be accompanied by ejaculation pain.

Causes

1. Biological factors

(1) It is an infection caused by various pathogenic microorganisms. Viruses, mycoplasmas, chlamydia, bacteria, spirochetes, fungi, trichomonas, etc. can all cause disease. The main route is urinary tract infection. The ascending infected urine spreads retrogradely from the prostatic part of the urethra to the prostatic gland duct, causing bacterial inflammation.

(2) Biological factors also include the body's immune capacity. When the body's immunity is normal, even if there are pathogens in the urethra, it will not cause infection and disease. On the contrary, if the body's immunity is reduced, the non-pathogenic bacteria that normally exist in the urinary system can also cause disease.

2. Psychological factors

Human psychological activities are very complex. Nowadays, people's psychology is generally more superficial. Due to the influence of various factors, unhealthy psychological activities such as anxiety, impatience, depression, etc. have increased. These psychological activities can lead to a decrease in the body's immune level. For example, experiments have shown that a person with long-term depressed emotions has a lower level of immunoglobulins in his blood than normal people. He is much more likely to suffer from colds, gastric ulcers, prostatitis, and even cancer than normal people.

3. Social factors

The main causes are bad living habits, or bad lifestyles, including: excessive drinking; eating spicy foods such as chili peppers; sitting for long periods of time; not liking to drink water; long-term habitual constipation; and colds.

Prostatitis is difficult to treat, and there is no specific treatment after diagnosis. Possible measures include:

1. Sit less. Use thicker cushions on the seats to reduce local pressure;

2. Physical therapy and hot water bath;

3. Anal levator exercises;

4. Medication for anus administration: anti-inflammatory and analgesic suppositories.

The above are the treatment methods for prostatitis. We can see that there are many treatment methods. We can choose a treatment method that suits us. Remember not to delay treatment to avoid delaying the disease.
