For men, the penis is the most important organ in the body because it is directly related to men's physical health and reproductive health. Especially with the increase of age, the penis of men becomes more and more important because it is directly related to men's sexual ability. Strong sexual ability means good relationship between husband and wife, while poor sexual ability means poor relationship between husband and wife. So the question is, at what age does the penis stop developing? Male development is bone growth → testicular enlargement → erect pigmented pubic hair → early voice changes → spermatogenesis during sleep → pigmented curly pubic hair → rapid growth during puberty → penis enlargement → fuzzy beard → armpit hair → late voice changes → coarse pigmented facial beard → chest hair → occasional breast enlargement → increased erections → appearance of gonadotropin in urine → facial complexion changes: coarsening of skin texture, enlarged pores, appearance of acne → increased body odor. Because of individual differences, there are significant differences in the age at which boys reach certain stages, and there are also great differences in the duration of each stage. The process of sexual maturity mainly occurs during puberty, when the body undergoes significant changes in growth, development, metabolism, endocrine function, and psychological state. The special sign of sexual maturity for women is the onset of menstruation, while for men it is the first ejaculation, which is often nocturnal emission. Just as a girl's first menstruation may not be accompanied by ovulation, a boy's first ejaculation may not be accompanied by sperm. At the same time, both men and women experience important psychological changes, such as yearning for the opposite sex, wanting the opposite sex to pay attention to them, and beginning to feel sexually excited. There is no strict boundary for boys' puberty, which generally starts between 10 and 14 years old and lasts for 2 to 4 years. In early puberty, the central nervous system of boys gradually matures, reducing the inhibitory effect on the hypothalamus and increasing the frequency and amplitude of the pulsatile secretion of gonadotropin-releasing hormones from the hypothalamus. The pituitary gland secretes gonadotropin in response, which further stimulates the testicular interstitial cells to secrete testosterone. Puberty development is closely related to testosterone levels. The first sign of puberty in boys is the enlargement of the testicles and scrotum, which usually appears around the age of 10. Pubic hair appears later, and the growth of pubic hair is the prelude to secondary sexual characteristics. Then the penis grows longer and thicker, the body grows taller rapidly, muscles develop, beards and armpit hair grow, the voice becomes deeper, and at the same time the prostate and seminal vesicles enlarge and begin to secrete fluid, and sperm is gradually produced. Usually the first ejaculation occurs between the ages of 13 and 15. |
