Brownish-brown, soy-sauce-like urine is often hemoglobinuria caused by intravascular hemolysis, such as leukemia, hemolytic transfusion reaction due to blood type incompatibility, etc.

Common causes of white urine include chyluria caused by filariasis and purulent urine caused by severe purulent urinary tract infection.
